There is an increasing use of robots, automated processes as well as data-based technologies in daily work. This trend enables to perform dangerous, repetitive and difficult tasks by robots. The work of people and technology is aimed be integrated into processes in the future. On the one hand, robotic exoskeletons, i.e. a mechanical tank can be used to prevent heavy loads for employees. On the other hand, augmented reality glasses can also provide workers with direct instructions and assistance remotely (without physically present trainers) to implement upgrades or changes. Operator 4.0 can also be used to detect health impairments during work by using a sensor-equipped technology to collect medical data. Operator 4.0 can act and support autonomously without any human interaction.
