Enterprises have to react to fluctuating customer demands in a flexible way. It is a challenging task to plan production capacities accordingly. Therefore, it is possible to offer existing and unused production capacity as a service to companies in need. This form of cooperation is widespread and helps both: The company providing available production capacity and the company having a higher demand than production capacity. Production capacities between collaborating enterprises can be controlled and reviewed directly. Offering on various platforms warrants an overview of existing resources. Restocking existing capacities in a meaningful way is already being used in many industrial branches, such as in aviation (code sharing) or the hotel industry.
